The Verge

German car companies have announced major initiatives to promote electric vehicles, but not everyone is convinced, . Protests in some cities - modelled after the French "yellow vest" protests, but on a much smaller scale - have rallied against bans on older diesel cars, critics still argue a fast transition to e-mobility is impossible, and “more than half of western European car managers expect electric mobility to fail” according to a 2018 , The Verge reports.
