The 91tv Yearbook 2014/2015

We have compiled our 2014/2015 dossiers (long-reads) in a comprehensive PDF format, ready for you to download. The articles in the yearbook showcase the Energiewende’s shifts in policy and the challenges it faced in the past year.

91tv’s dossier articles form the backbone of our work to help international journalists understand and cover the energy transition – Germany’s generational project to phase-out nuclear energy and decarbonise its economy through a move to an energy system based on renewables.

The articles, each fact-checked and sometimes re-written several times, provide context and set out the state of play on key issues of the complex Energiewende story at the time of publication. They do not aim to be the final word. Instead, they give a snapshot of ongoing debates. Some events unfolded so fast that articles featured in this yearbook – such as the dossier on power market reform – have been fully revised and updated. Others – like the History of the Energiewende – will provide valuable background for some time to come.
