The colour Brown in my opinion is a colour that is seriously missing in every gents wardrobe. With Blacks, greys, and navys taking precedent brown has been shoved in the back of the wardrobe like a dirty secret.
But not anymore, its time to bring it back. With Spring and Summer just around the corner I’m going to show you how Brown is versatile colour regardless of the season.
These Brown Fleck Skinny Ankle Grazer Trousers are going to be a must have staple piece in my wardrobe. Not only are they well made, the cut and the turn up hem detail is amazing. I of course will be turning up those hem just a little bit more so they sit just above my ankle. Now remember skinny trousers are not for every man, so if you feel foolish a straight leg or an slim leg trousers in a similar colour will do the trick.
Team these trousers with a this White Rolled Sleeve Oxford Shirt. With the browns buttons on the shirt I am able to make sure that I’m using the colour brown in every part of this look. For a more formal look keep the sleeve rolled down and buttoned, and for a more casual or relax look roll up those sleeves.
Tuck your shirt in to the trousers and use this Leather Plait Emboss Belt from ASOS.
For extra brownie points why not add a bow tie like this one Black and Natural Bowtie from Topman. Although not in a brown this will break up the look and will make the use of brown slightly subtle.
And finally most men have a pair of brown shoes in their wardrobe, but these Forest Brogues shoes by Carmina Shoemaker available from matches.com are extremely chic, versatile and most of all beautifully made.
So there you have it my ideal Brown outfit. Simple, versatile, effective and most of all using a lot of brown.
